“Teaching value one pawn at a time,” The Board Room Chess is a community initiative committed to creating safe spaces for Baltimore City youth. Using the strategies and disciplines of the game of chess, Board Room Chess teaches life skills, healthy competition, and the importance of developing good decision-making habits.

Takes place in BMA space at Lexington Market on the upper level near the Baltimore room.
